    • Genius Energy Ltd

      May 2013 - Nov 2014

I have held a variety of positions within this company and been instrumental in contributing to the success of all aspects of the business, including supporting the integration of the Green Deal into our business model.I was promoted to my current role in July 2014 having made improvements throughout the operations department. I set up a heating division to install biomass boilers, solar thermal and gas-fired boilers and I was also responsible for the accreditation of new technologies and systems.I then took on an opportunity to focus on sourcing and pricing of new and existing products. Within the first two months I launched a new Solar PV package that we now offer into the domestic market, providing an alternative, more effective product and introduced a new voltage optimiser into our portfolio. Show less In January 2014 I was asked to take on the role of Installations Manager overseeing the client journey from design to post installation of Solar PV and other energy saving technologies for commercial and domestic markets. The main duties included building an employed team of installers supported by back office administrative staff, project managing the development of the CRM, reducing any non conformances and managing the client journey from sale to post installation. I was also responsible for improving our accreditation standards and seeking new accreditations, which included our Domestic Installer Scheme. We hit a record month in March completing 142 Solar PV installations. Show less I applied and was successful in securing this exciting position in a fast growing company with a great product. Due to expansion, Genius Energy required a process driven individual to join their telemarketing team to help build the future with the existing portfolio as well as ground-breaking energy saving developments.I was tasked with growing the call centre from 15 to 50 staff in the second half of 2013 and additionally we ran two outsource centres providing leads on a daily basis. After only 7 months running the call centre I was asked to bring stability and growth across all aspects of post sales operations.
