  Managed two community-based projects: 'Sing-Along Surrey', an existing project in which students attended local elderly care homes for sing-along sessions, and 'Holloway Notes', a new project I set up for the 2019-20 year, which was a choir for local adults with autism, learning disabilities and social anxiety. Acted as an ambassador for the Volunteering Department, assisting with promotion of opportunities and recruitment of volunteers on the university campus, presentations to external visitors including visitors from the Department of Education, attending events with university officials and local charity staff members, and representing the Volunteering Department on campus-wide open days. Led the 'Inspire Holloway' team which ran on-campus initiatives including national campaigns such as #iwill week and Student Volunteering Week. Member of the 'Inspire Charters' team which was partnered with a local secondary school and sixth form college, giving presentations to students about volunteering and mentoring students one-on-one through their voluntary endeavours. Member of the Response Team, which provided hands-on voluntary support when it was needed last-minute by local community partners. Show less
