  (1) Artificial intelligence applied in Human Computer Interaction, specifically using machine learning algorithms to support exploration in music making. I focus on the study of machine learning technology situated in human musical practices.(2) Designing Accessible Digital Musical Instruments (ADMIs) for and with people with disabilities, with a focus on the social and cultural aspects that support the development of an inclusive musicking space, where the ADMIs developed and used were no longer at the center of our solutions, and became one element among others in this ecosystem.   Collaborative Training of Neural Sound Synthesis Models for Musical Performance (collaboration between LISN and IRCAM): The project aims to explore the design of tools that facilitate a co-creation experience akin to a music band, reframing model training as an interactive, collaborative and real-time process. By working with musician collectives, the research seeks to promote a deeper understanding and respect of the source material and its origins, increased fine-grained control of Machine Learning in creative practice, and production of forms of music beyond the homogenising trends of deep learning models.
