      The Coordinator for Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution is responsible for the resolution (i.e., investigating and adjudicating) of incident reports regarding alleged violations of the Code of Student Conduct by students, recognized student organizations, and student groups which may involve hazing, non-Title IX student misconduct, and Title IX cases. The coordinator also assists in developing andexecuting a conflict resolution program as well as creating and following up on sanctions. Essential FunctionsInvestigate alleged policy violations by students and student organizations/groups in an equitable, impartial, prompt, and thorough manner by reviewing initial reports and gathering additional information to determine if, using the preponderance of the evidence standard, a policy violation occurred. Investigations include identifying and interviewing relevant parties; identifying, gathering, and assessing/analyzing information pertinent to the investigation; applying relevant policies; writing investigatory reports; and making findings of fact for assigned cases.Develop, execute, and track the timely completion of sanctions imposed upon students, recognized student organization, and student groups found to have violated University policies.Assist with designing, implementing, and assessing a conflict resolution program that includes services such as mediation, conflict coaching, facilitated dialogue, and restorative justice circles to help create asafe, just, and peaceful community. Respond to student emergencies and provide crisis intervention and management as needed.Provide programming to the campus community on topics related to behavioral expectations and reporting mechanisms as well as assist with training other conduct administrators.
