  My role at Allestree Woodlands School allowed me to develop my technical theatre skills and improve my customer service skills through my interactions with clients. I started as a trainee in 2016 and worked my way to being the primary technician for external lettings and the lead lighting technician on all internal shows. I took charge of system maintenance and undertook a hands-on approach with clients to ensure they always got what they wanted within our guidelines and standards for operation. Show less

  I started at the Joiners Arms as a member of the support team a job which required me to work efficiently and develop my problem solving abilities allowing me to consistently provide high quality service to every guest that I interacted with. It was using these skills that earnt me the position as a host a job which demanded long hours and a devotion to my work that further strengthened my resilient attitude whenever a problem may arise. I spent 3 months as an accountant for Chilled Pubs. In those months I gained experience in matching supplier invoices with internal orders and stock counts for the business. Additionally I updated supplier bank details to ensure payments always went through and also check supplier statements to ensure we had received and paid all invoices.
