  I am currently in my 3rd Year at Maltby Academy providing a high level of IT support to over 100 staff and 1000 students.My responsibilities cover all aspects of IT, including, but not limited to:• The setting up and configuration of new machines and servers along with the deployment of software and updates across multiple devices.• Enrolling and managing staff and student devices on Microsoft Intune.• Inventorying hardware, including physical asset tagging, updating locations and current status on the database.• Administering Office 365 including initial setup on clients machines, creating email domains and distribution groups, setting up user-level based permissions, assigning the appropriate licenses and continued maintenance.• The use of Remote Server Administration Tools such as Active Directory Users & Computers and Group Policy Management.• Using deployment software such as Windows Deployment Services/MDT and SCCM to deploy pre-made OS images to devices over the network.• Network admin; including configuration and maintenance of proxies of virtual and physical firewalls e.g Smoothwall.• Designing school brand graphics, promotional materials and more for use on our website, staff and student I.D. badges using Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator.• Capturing, editing and rendering videos for school/charity events using Adobe Premiere & Vegas.• Using data encryption tools such as BitLocker to ensure the security of potentially sensitive documents.• Administering Papercut for use with our fleet of 'Follow Me' printers around the school site.• Smaller clerical tasks such as resetting passwords and setting up email forwarding.Working in a school presents a vast series of challenges, such as making sure the students are able to browse safely online, making sure students and staff have access to different parts of the system as well as varying levels of access to content either online or on the local network.
