      •On the Job training Instructor.•Inform management of any development affecting the proper storing and handling of items or causing delay; recommend corrective action, including revision/drafting of procedures and methods.•Operate computer terminals, personal computers, and related computer peripheral equipment to maintain/adjust/update inventory database logs., computer based systems.•Prepare and maintain necessary records, charts, files, reports, etc., to determine and report the progress and status of assignment to management. Attend meetings and report status and progress when appropriate. .•Support excess and redistribution storage areas.•Set up bins, racks, and storage areas. Mark containers, racks, bins with proper identification such as part number, quantity, number of containers, date received, location, vendor name•Operate all types of warehouse material handling equipment such as forklifts, narrow aisle forklifts, pallet dollies, and stackers to handle, store materials. Operate motor vehicles as required to facilitate the accomplishment of work assignments.•Take inventory, maintain stock records as required and resolve customer service problems. Make appropriate entries in downtime and trouble logs, as required, for operated equipment.•Take all necessary actions to satisfactorily support customers by providing them with a serviceable product in accordance with their scheduled need date and time. •Participate in process improvement teams. Accomplish all necessary proficiency packages so as to be able to work independently within assigned work area.•Calibration Support, schedule the transfer of over 6,000 line items of calibrated equipment and tools to the designated Calibration facility and back to the appropriate tool cribs and or end users. Update the calibration tracking data base to reflect new calibration dates. Show less
