  Welcome and please let me introduce myself. My name is Annette Touchette Wallace. I am the owner of Touchette & Associates LLC, founded in 2024. We specialize in providing that extra special touch that will make your events memorable as well as informative and educational. We go out of our way to find different and unique venues and guest speakers wherever we go that will show case each organizations special feel and flavor. My journey to this point has spanned three different segments of business: association, government and not-for-profits. I have planned as many as 75-80 meetings/events in one year, created a successful Governor’s Conference on Economic Development for 19 years and developed new events, all of which have been profitable, including the Kit Bond Citizen Leadership Award Dinner and Industry Day at the Missouri Capitol. During the pandemic years I was able to adapt to virtual and hybrid to keep all events scheduled. In addition to planning successful conferences, seminars, and events I have been involved with the Society of Government Meeting Professionals (SGMP) for the last 18 years. I have served on the National Board as a planner director, first vice president and presently in my second term as president. During my tenure as National President, we were able to successfully bring SGMP through the devastation of the pandemic. SGMP lost over 40% of their membership and we have recouped over 50% of the lost members and continue to grow. I earned my Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) in 2009 and my Certified Government Meeting Professional (CGMP) in 2017. I hold a BS in Business Administration/Management from Columbia College.
