  Working in the McGowan Laboratory, part of the Department of Microbiology at Monash University during my Honours year.Investigated newly identified depolymerase enzymes, from bacteriophages that infect Klebsiella spp., as potential novel antimicrobials for controlling multi-drug resistant K. pneumoniae. My project included bioinformatic analyses as well as the production and testing of recombinant depolymerase enzymes on multiple Klebsiella isolates.
