      Activities and Societies: Grad Council I was an honour roll student all throughout high school. I pushed myself even further in grade eleven by taking the majority of my grade 12 courses in my second semester to allow for half days in my grade 12 year to enable me to focus on my dance teaching certificate. This also allowed me to take on the role of a grad council member which I was nominated and voted to be on by my peers.       I am currently working at two dance studios here in Victoria. Between the two, I teach students as young as two and as old as thirteen. I am actively teaching jazz, acrobatics, hip-hop, and lyrical. I teach these classes once a week every Saturday. I am responsible for creating a fun and safe environment for students as well as formulating a class plan each week. My students also perform in their year-end performance and I am responsible for choosing and editing the music, choreographing and teaching the dance, finding costumes, and ensuring their dance looks presentable. On top of my regularly scheduled classes, I substitute teach for other classes at varying studios when needed. I also enjoy volunteering at other small dance shows the studios put on for their older students. Show less
