  I was part of a small staffing team responsible for recruiting the company's Conference & Banqueting staff who's task it was to provide the executive hospitality experience that is to be expected from such a prestigious and acclaimed football club. Responsibilities included phone & face-to-face interviews, staff inductions, administration of staff starter paperwork and on-going queries and documentation, assisting the staffing of the 1,500+ match-day hospitality department staff members as well as leading a team responsible for the planning, preparation and operation of department on match-days.   *(New Turn is now operating under the name of 'The Current Affairs Society'​.)In my role as New Turn Vice-Chair, I played a supportive Role to the Chair who themselves were responsible ultimately for each and every individual within the organisation. Collectively we ensured the different arms of the organisation worked in harmony with one another and that the effective communication necessary for such to occur, did so. As the schools programme Director, I am responsible for for co-ordination, planning, staffing and overall success of New Turn's schools programme's 6 active, six week workshops (www.newturn.org.uk/pages/schools/). Show less A colleague and I formulated a six week syllabus for a financial policy workshop ('Money Matters') that aimed to introduce the Sixth Form students we gave it to to concepts as inflation, interest, money, markets (financial and product), consumption and ethics, trade, as well as providing a digestible explanation of the banking and sovereign debt crises. Along with a small team of assistants, through engaging and inclusive activities and games, we were able to introduce such concepts at a working level within a fun environment. Show less

  I was assigned the task of writing a piece for the relaunch of the BBB website to coincide with the planning of their October BBB Conference.
