  Test Manager - Consultant for TXT e-solution

  The first two critical projects in which I worked as Test Engineer and then Test Manager for TXT e-solution were the ‘Mission Control System” and “EH-101 MERLIN AMC” for Agusta Sistemi.Tasks as Test Engineer for the first project:- Analysis of the Test Plan and Design created by the Test Manager in order to create and automate Test Cases on specific language (Valid) and documented all the activities executed- Presentation and review of the results of the tests to the ClientTasks as Test Manager for the second project:- Definition of the Test Plan and Design in order to cover the client requirements- Creation and automation of the Test Cases- Execution of the Static Test and Dynamic Test - Presentation of the results of the tests to the ClientThe most critical aspect on both the two projects was the understanding of the client needs (the military environment is very demanding) and the respect of the delivery date because the software used for the creation of the test cases was developed by an external vendor and sometimes the collaboration was not easy.   For H3G during the period of pre and post go live of this new company in the telecommunication area the most important projects were: PBA (post billing application) and GSU (Global support Unit).Tasks as Test Manager for PBA (post bililing application):- Definition of the Test Management process and roles on the billing area - Analysis of the gap for the billing area caused by Italian legal constraint and definition of the requirement for the development team- Definition of the Test Plan and Test Design - installation and verification of the software provided by the development team on the Test environment- execution of the test cases and defect management- support on the go-live of the product Tasks as Team Leader for the GSU (Global support Unit):- Coordination of the new Test Team composed by 2 testers and 2 analysts in order to evaluate the urgency and the impact of the incidents raised from the different H3G branches (Austria, UK, Australia, Sweden, Italy) related to the Billing Core application “Single View” (ADC) and PBA (Post Billing Application)- Managing of the resolution time of the defects with the two vendors (ADC and Accenture) according to the SLA - Release note creation and plan definition for the major and minor release for all the branchesMy team was composed by consultants coming from different societies so the evaluation of the performance and the negative feedback were difficult to manage. Looks for and establishes relationships within my team to build a positive atmosphere and also with the other team in India who followed during the night the same products was difficult to obtain.
