      Within this position I was required to research and develop a comprehensive report determining the needs and requirements of an Alumni Department at the college. Speaking with other institutes and consultants I discussed the most appropriate methods of fundraising and developed a plan for the rebranding of the Alumni Department website and marketing materials in preparation of a re-launch in summer 2011.

      My role is to facilitate the recruitment of well-qualified undergraduate and postgraduate students, from the UK and overseas, to the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Newcastle University.I account manage numerous academic schools with a huge portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes. I also manage 3 marketing officers and within my remit I:• analyse and monitor admissions data to provide management information, to spot trends and to highlight issues• identify new marketing and student recruitment opportunities• devise, implement and evaluate strategic marketing plans to meet student recruitment targets• give professional marketing advice and guidance.As an email marketing specialist I provide advice on strategy, communication planning, and content direction for the Faculty. I lead on the development of all pre-application and post application emails for both undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment to all subjects within the faculty. I also provide advice and guidance to the faculty events team for their CRM activities including emails and booking systems using Connect, Gecko and HubSpot CRM systems. I built my website to provide product recommendations and easy to follow craft tutorials and utilise SEO skills to maximise advertising revenue and reach. I have built a 120k strong Facebook community of crafters from around the world along with a string following on Pinterest, Instagram and 10k followers on TikTok.
