    • MIT

      Sept 2012 - May 2013
      Classical Mechanics TA

Help new Freshman experience physics at the MIT level. Tasks include: sitting in on lectures and clarifying any doubts related to concept or problem solving procedure, grading problem sets, being an overall mentor and source of support.

    • Michigan State University

      Jun 2014 - Aug 2014
Plant and Soil Sciences - Research Assistant

Working with the Subsurface Water Retention Technology (SWRT) group at MSU. Comprehensive soil sampling to investigate water and nutrient retention in control and SWRT corn and soybean plots using mass spectrometry techniques. Mini-Rhyzotron root imaging and subsequent data analysis to establish root density on plots with differing root treatments.

    • Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Ciudad de México

      Jan 2015 - Feb 2015
Visiting Lecturer (Advanced Engineering Physics for High School Students)

Offered a month-long intensive course that introduced the Calculus approach to Newton's Classical Mechanics formulation.

    • MIT DMSE - GroupSadoway

      Jun 2015 - Sept 2015
Undergraduate Researcher Liquid Metal Battery Group

Investigation of design and chemistry of 1Ah liquid metal battery cells for eventual scale up to grid level energy storage. Research includes using LiCl-KCl eutectic salt as molten electrolyte and Pb as a working electrode metal. Currently exploring design options for a bipolar separator to isolate opposite electrodes and improve cell lifetime and efficiency.
