It is a severe form of Anaemia. Sadly, India is considered to be the Thalassemia capital of the world with thousands of new cases reported every year.At LHS, we are trying to help the existing patients by organizing blood donation camps, HLA testing camps, conducting motivational talks among other activities. At the same time, we are doing awareness activities through seminars in colleges and companies and also through social media to ensure that the future generations can be free from this preventable disorder.
