  15 January 2018 – 15 May 2018 Determined optimal range of working temperature for smooth and efficient operation of fully automated electric arc furnaces for Dongkuk Steel, which has been Korea’s leading steel manufacturing company since 1954. Test data obtained from various traditional and semi automated electric arc furnaces as well as induction furnaces were used as initial database for obtaining optimal operating range of automated electric arc furnaces. Spreadsheets in MS Excel were used to store and retrieve numerical data. These spreadsheets were then imported to PSeven Workflow. Data mining techniques viz. Classification Analysis and Regression Analysis would then be performed to obtain working range of temperature for different grades of steel with different functional requirements.1 July 2017 – 21 July 2017 Underwent training in design solution software PSeven which is a licensed product of leading French data analysis and big data company, Datadvance, developed in collaboration with multinational American corporation, Boeing. PSeven is a design space exploration software, extending design simulation and analysis capabilities while assisting in smarter and fasterdesign decisions. It provides seamless integration with third party CAD and CAE software tools, powerful multi-objective and robust optimization algorithms, data analysis and uncertainty management tools. Obtained Design of Experiments (DoEs) for various fatigue and fracture, structural engineering and fluid mechanics problems through sensitivity and dependency analysis, surrogate modelling, data fusion and optimization.
