      Responsible for the supervision/leadership of a team of flight instructors tasked with the training of ab-initio AES Op students. This encompassed ground school and in flight training on the CT-142 Dash 8 training aircraft and associated simulator. During this timeframe we saw the successful completion of over 100 new graduates to go on to serve in the Royal Canadian Air Force. Responsible for the instruction of AES Op candidates in all aspects of the CH 124 SeaKing. This involved utility operations (hoisting, slinging, rescue methods) as well as operation of Radar, Sonar, acoustics through the use of sonobuoys and the safe operation of door gunnery (C6 GPMG). Leadership was also displayed with the additional responsibilities of Training support officer tasked with the long term planning of all aircrew training within the Sqn. Lead Sensor Operator on a deployed Seaking helicopter detachment. Deployed operations to the Arabian sea in support of the Royal Canadian Navy. Tasked with the training of a junior operator while in the theatre of operations during counter piracy activites. Sensor Operator on a deployed Seaking helicopter detachment. Deployed operations to the Arabian sea in support of the Royal Canadian Navy. Tasked with the safe area control of embarked aircraft onboard HMC ships. This also included the mentoring of junior air controllers in the safe practices learned during training. Leadership, a calm demeanor and steady hand was a must when conducting safety of flight following. Sensor operator onboard all classes of Naval vessels within Canada. Knowledge of Radar systems, IFFI, Link 11, Sonar, ESM, track management, data fusion and modern Naval Warfare tactics employed during this time.

      Training Analyst

      Responsible for the delivery of In service support to the Maritime Helicopter Project (cyclone). This involves the operation of various training devices in support of the RCAF's training mandate as well as the involvement with engineering support within the company.       Tasked with the sensor requirements for Canada’s new RPAS project in support of our future acquisition of a remotely piloted aircraft system. Responsibilities included tactics development for both CH-148 Cyclone and CP-140 Aurora aircraft. Was the RCAF representative to the RCN for the MK46 weapon system with an upgrade project in progress. Also filled the role as unit Senior NCM reporting directly to the Commanding Officer.
