  My main role was to design and develop in-house mobile apps and localize open-source products. I was heavily involved to develop mobile data collection system for the highly successful National Housing Reconstruction Program data collection project. The tech system we developed was used by over 2500 engineers to assess building damage due to 2015 earthquake. This was a very high priority project of national importance. In addition, I also played a major role in several other projects in different application areas e.g. agriculture, food security, disaster risk reduction, humanitarian response, open governance, water and sanitation. Apart from my role as an app developer, I also took part in organizing and delivering several training and workshop to audience ranging from farmers to undergraduate engineering students. I also piloted Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and processed the aerial imagery to aid mapping. Show less
