  Responsible for the test, configuration and integration of software builds for the purposes of Air Traffic Control simulations.Plan and strategise the test and configuration activities for a variety of work packages as mentioned below.Lead test and configuration activities for 3 Research and Development simulations validating new tools and concepts as part of the SESAR programme. The simulator was developed using AGILE methods. Responsibilities included; requirements elicitation, test planning, writing test scripts, manual testing, test reporting, taking new software builds, configuring software for use on multiple facilities. Simulator test and configuration lead for the Time Based Spacing project (a world first in Air Traffic Management). Responsibilities included; test planning, writing test scripts, manual testing, test reporting, taking new software builds, configuring software for use on multiple facilities (3 in the UK and one facility overseas), integrating the simulator with numerous real-time operational systems. Simulator test and configuration lead for the Simulator Improvements project. This involves the test management of several threads designed to enhance and modernise simulator capability for future training and development of Air Traffic Controllers on new systems running on state of the art architectures.Simulator Delivery Manager for two test tools (one in the UK and one in Germany). I work closely with the customer to provide suitable simulator solutions to aid their testing of Operational Systems delivered to NATS. This includes requirements capture, test management and formal acceptance as well as customer liaison. I am the customer focal point for both assets. Show less
