  I was Deputy Manager at a hostel for 27 homeless young people with offending histories, poor mental health and drug and alcohol support needs in Lambeth, South London. I line managed 6 staff, and led on health and safety, incident management and rent collection. I provided support, advice and advocacy to 18 homeless young people who lived in a hostel in Camberwell, South London.

  Implemented new approach to Safeguarding across the organisation, including governance, monitoring, analysis, and interventions leading to improved practice.. I coordinate the response and escalation of serious incidents, ensuring they are investigated and learning and improvement identified. Wrote and embedded new Safeguarding and Incident Management Procedures.I oversee the Quality Management Systems across all services, ensuring they meet internal and external requirements, in particular our services registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).I am responsible for the organisation's Policies and Procedures, ensuring they provide clear direction whilst meeting statutory responsibilities.I am a member of the Senior Management Team, and lead on the Safeguarding and Quality Group, a high level group who report in directly to the Senior Leadership and Board.
