  In February 2010, I started my PhD-project on "Healthy ageing: underweight/overweight" at the Wageningen University. During this project, we examined the impact of weight status, by using different anthropometric measures, on health in elderly individuals and in an ageing population. This project is in cooperation with the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM).In October 2013, I successfully defended my thesis "Anthropometrics and ageing: Impact of weight status on health".For scientific publications, see' Publications' .
