I also was Grade level chair, joined teams to create district curriculum plans, and was apart of the 21st Century Technology Committee. In addition, I got my Masters in Education during my first years and obtained my GATE certification, teaching an after school GATE program for 7 years.

      Teacher of the year Lily Sarah Grace Foundation Oct 2014 I was honored to be recognized as “Teacher of the Year” in 2014 by the Lily Sarah Grace Foundation for a Donors Choose Project called, “Making Movies to Save the Environment”. The foundation flew me out to New York City to be honored at their first Gala with my family and friends.
