  Conducted vegetation and vernal pool surveys on local San Diego flora and fauna as member of the Parks and Recreation Open Space Management team. Assisted with mammal tracking, bird surveys, and herpetology monitoring under the Multiple Species Conservation Program. Collaborated closely with park rangers and biologists on natural resource management and conservation.

  Taught K-12 field based and classroom focused school based programs emphasizing conservation, environmental science, and stewardship. Facilitated public programming experiences in the field for multi-generational audiences including tide pooling, whale watching, snorkeling, and outdoor summer camps. Served as lead educator supporting training a diverse team of education instructors, interns, and volunteers. Taught classroom based K-12 education activities both on site and in classrooms across San Diego. Led interpretive floor programming focused on live animal displays. Led public program experiences including whale watching cruises out of San Diego Bay, snorkels at various San Diego beaches, 10 week summer camp programming, and numerous public outreach events and activities.
