As Data Center environment increased, added complexes and units to existing complexes to support new environments and systems.• Consolidated mainframes from 4 data centers to 2. Incorporated BAU forecast for several business units as well as sales and application forecasts which were part of total usage profile. Merged forecasts together to create total workload needed to support the next 3 to 5 years in the consolidated data centers and ensure sufficient capacity to support new configurations. • Created mainframe CPU configurations for several mainframes as part of a 5 to 3 Data Center consolidation. Determined actual hardware requirements for each workload on CPU and ensured it was appropriately sized and configured to meet customer demand and SLAs.
