      Dec 2007 - now
      Assistant Vice Provost

As Johns Hopkins University's Assistant Vice Provost I oversee the handling of the university's compliance with respect to federal, state and local laws regarding harassment and discrimination. I joined JHU's Office of Institutional Equity as an Equity Compliance Specialist in 2007 conducting harassment and discrimination investigations, became the Director for Equity Compliance & Education and Title IX Coordinator in 2010, and was promoted to Assistant Vice Provost in November 2014. In my current capacity, I continue to conduct investigations of discrimination and harassment (included sexual violence) complaints filed by faculty, staff and students. In addition, I conduct training for the JHU community on these topics; and have helped shape JHU's anti-harassment and discrimination policies and procedures.I served as the inaugural chair the university's Sexual Violence Advisory Committee - a faculty, staff and student committee formed in 2014 that provides recommendations to the Provost to inform the university's efforts, programs and policy that relate to sexual violence and assault.
