  Responsibilities,1. Monitoring and analyzing all unit operations for continuous attainment of production as per production schedule and meeting product specifications.2. Carrying out Material Balances, products quality and tanks ullage reports in order to assess the overall availability of feed stocks for units, products quality and upliftment of products.3. Carrying out Energy Balances and monitoring consumption of fuel oil, gas, power and taking measures to minimize losses.4. Carrying out Process Simulations for different types of Crude and their blends in order to get the desired composition of the products (black and white) with the optimum parameters. 5. Estimating efficiency of different process equipments i.e. Boilers, Heat Ex-changers, Cooling towers, De-aerators, Air Cooled Heat Ex-changers. 6. Carrying out maintenance work with the help of Work Permit System and studied other work permits i.e. Hot,Cold and other Permits and Certifications.7. Coordinating daily with related departments such as Maintenance, Tech.Services, Utilities,Quality control, Inspection, Safety, Oil Movement, and Industrial Relations to solve related problems.8. Preparing Safety Operating Procedures for the attainment of Optimum and Safe operations of the Process Equipments.9. Reviewing unit operation's Log sheets and Checklists and ensuring that all the procedures are followed according to the SOP's that are being prepared.10. Reading, Making and Reviewing of P&IDs and following the standards of ISA (Instrument Society Of America). 11. Checking and taking necessary action in case of any deviation found from normal operating conditions.12. Managing Manpower of Shift.13. Crude and Products (White and Black) handling calculations.14.
