  In my second year, I delved into the world of robotics through an enriching internship that illuminated the intricacies of this dynamic field. During this transformative experience, I acquired a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of robotics, laying the groundwork for a project that would blend technology with compassion. The culmination of my efforts resulted in the creation of a prototype robot, aptly named the "Companion Robot," designed with the noble purpose of providing assistance to elderly individuals living alone. This innovative marvel went beyond conventional notions of robotics by seamlessly integrating a virtual robotics toolkit. The Companion Robot not only offered companionship but also served as a health companion, collecting crucial health parameters such as pulse oximetry and temperature. This internship marked a pivotal moment in my academic journey, where the synergy of robotics and empathy converged to create a tangible solution with the potential to enhance the well-being of those in need.   Embarking on an exhilarating journey into the realms of Big Data Analytics at the esteemed National University of Singapore (NUS), I took the helm as the team leader in a riveting research internship. The focus of our collective efforts was nothing short of revolutionary – the integration of deep learning into the critical domain of healthcare. In particular, my leadership role came to the fore during a groundbreaking project aimed at the early detection and classification of epidermal malignancies. Armed with the potent ResNet and AlexNet deep learning models, our team spearheaded an initiative to not only identify skin lesions but also meticulously categorize them among the intricate spectrum of seven distinct types of skin cancer.Beyond the intricacies of neural networks and coding, my role as team leader extended to the administrative forefront. I seamlessly navigated the complexities of team dynamics, ensuring a harmonious collaboration that fueled our collective innovation. From coordinating project timelines to orchestrating regular team meetings, I assumed the responsibility of fine-tuning the collaborative engine that drove our project forward. The administrative intricacies were not merely bureaucratic checkpoints but the critical underpinning that sustained our ambitious venture.As the project unfolded, the synergy within the team was palpable, a testament to effective leadership and a shared commitment to our mission.
