  Lead the Integrated Product Delivery team of shop fabricators and (VDC) design department to deliver mechanical contracting projects (plumbing, HVAC, mechanical piping) by leveraging Bassett's pre-fabrication capabilities. Manage department budgets, stay informed of advancements in the industry and lead process improvement initiatives to minimize waste. Manage design team consisting of Drafters, Designers, Detailers within the VDC Department. Work with Engineering, Project Management and Foreman to develop design solutions. Utilize BIM software, laser scanning and Robotic Total Station to deliver the projects. Plan, schedule, manage fabrication team and shop manpower. Oversee the fabrication of pipe spools, support steel, ASME pressure vessels and modular skid packages for internal and external customers. Ensure company policies were followed and delivery dates were met. Lead project installation of field piping crews for ammonia refrigeration, hydronic and steam systems. Weld, fit and layout installation of mechanical piping. Observe and learn from Journeyman and Foreman how to perform the work safely with quality craftsmanship.
