  In this weeklong summer program hosted at various regional parks, I volunteered to help run the camp at Ardenwood Farms. In this program, I assisted staff members in any way I could, directing campers to each new activity around the farm, helping demonstrate how to use farm equipment, and leading short team-building games in between activities.

  Teaching Aide

  In this month-long course, I assisted students in the fabrication of robots that completed a variety of tasks. Such tasks include following a line with a color or light sensor, autonomously navigating a maze using touch or infrared sensors, collecting and lifting boxes, and other challenges that require logical code written in RobotC. I was involved in helping students optimize their robots, either in code or mechanically.

  Intern

  This internship was a crash course into the semiconductor testing equipment industry. I obtained hands-on experience with all divisions of this semiconductor testing equipment manufacturer, including design, fabrication, sales, and the day-to-day of being a CEO. I also refined my CAD skills by designing mainly ICP sockets, learned CAM design and the basics of operating a CNC, experienced product production timelines and organization, and practiced my Mandarin in an engineering environment.
