  Thomas is the Managing Partner in SOM's London office, having relocated from New York in 2016 to take up the role. Thomas has worked on a diverse range of international projects, overseeing and coordinating SOM’s overall efforts in the Europe and Middle East regions on a wide range of project types including educational, civic, cultural, residential, hospitality, commercial, urban planning, and mixed-use developments.Some of Thomas’ key experience includes managing the following projects:• Nine Elms Square, London, UK: Architectural design of a new 215,000 sm residential-led, mixed-use district including the design of 35-, 45- and 55-storey luxury residential buildings. • United Nations of Geneva (UNOG), Geneva, Switzerland: In-depth master planning, structural engineering, programming, architectural and interior design services for the UN’s 2.3 million sf Geneva campus. • Rostec Tower, Moscow, Russia: architectural services for a new landmark tower located at the heart of the Rostec City 1 master plan, a unique commercial development. • Four Seasons Bahrain, Manama, Bahrain: Master planning and architecture for a 180,000 sm development, including 20,000 sm offices, 100,000 sm residential, and 60,000 sm of hotel, resort and banquet facilities, 50,000 sm.• Corso Italia 23, Milan, Italy; A 45,000 sm adaptive reuse of historic RAS headquarters aspiring to create a new office destination in the centre of Milan employing the most advanced sustainability, workplace and indoor comfort design concepts. • Kuwait University Student Activities and Athletic Facilities, Shadadiya, Kuwait: Architecture, interior design, structural and civil engineering for a 10-building facility with competitive, recreational, athletic and aquatic areas and two major spectator facilities.
