  As an Assistant Store director with Vons, I had to lead my store team to create a well-balanced operation. My role included being responsible for the day to day operations of the store. I had overall responsibility for the store when the Store Director is not present. I am responsible for making store level decisions on hiring, training, disciplinary action, and scheduling. Further, I am responsible for the direct oversight and management of the center of store departments: Grocery, Dairy, Frozen, Backroom/Inventory, General Merchandise, Health and Beauty, and Liquor.
