  At St. Matthew's Animal Clinic, my role as a Kennel Assistant consisted of practicing excellent animal husbandry of boarding cats and dogs as well as hospitalized patients. I was responsible for feeding a variety of veterinary and non-veterinary diets to boarders and patients. I monitored and recorded appetite, behavior, and bowel movements. I assisted the veterinarians and techs with patient restraint. I was responsible for cleaning and sanitation of the kennel and hospital areas, exercising knowledge of correct protocols for proper disinfection.
