Activities and Societies: During my 4th year at University I was a member of the UWS Athletics team. I competed at the Scottish University & College Track & Field Championships where I won a silver in the 1500m. My medal position gained me selection to compete for the Scottish University team at the Celtic International Championships in Belfast. Throughout my time at University I proved myself to be a self-motivated, committed and determined individual that always pushed myself to achieve my goals. I also demonstrated excellent organising skills, a sense of responsibility and a capacity to work hard under pressure. During the course of my studies I gained extensive knowledge in social health and well-being as a key part of my degree focused on Nutrition for fitness, health and exercise. I conducted research on “The Effects of Foam Rolling on Lower Limbs Muscle DOMS Responses in Female Cross-Country Runners” for my Honours Dissertation.
