  As COO of HORNE, I led a team responsible for all operational functions of the firm necessary to support client service, including accounting, information technology, marketing, communication and public relations, human resources, learning and development, employee coaching and engagement, facilities, business process and risk management. During my tenure, the firm doubled in size and expanded services into Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. I set the strategic priorities for the operational areas of the firm, collaborating to identify, design and deliver solutions that would ultimately support the growth and expansion of the firm all the while managing the related operations, risks and regulations. Our goal was to manage operations, including providing resources to the firm, to ensure that we enhanced the delivery of services to the firm's clients.In addition to managing operations, I had a seat at the table as HORNE built a unique culture of team members fully engaged, to reach their full potential. My team provided the roadmap and support for that cultural change. I served on the Belonging at HORNE steering committee and on the personnel committee in order to promote and support the firm's team members and the evolution of the firm's culture. Show less
