      The Web Science Lab (WSL) at IIIT Bangalore focuses on building models to extract semantics and understand the impact of the web on different facets of human life. Typical research pursuits of WSL include the following:1) Mining semantic associations from text and social media data2) Building computational models for various socio-cognitive phenomena on the web (like the formation of collective opinions, creation of celebrities, etc.)3) Semantic integration of formal web data4) Building computational models for Navigated learning towards digital empowermentAt the Web Science Lab, I built the initial version of a Capacity Based Access Control portal for the Indian Urban Data Exchange. Centered towards a Multiverse framework, the Access Control system acts as a mediator between users and data/resources to grant or deny access based on the underlying security policy.I successfully managed to build some basic functionalities from scratch, like user authentication, world initialization, role selection, role modeling, and role(privilege)-based data access.       Tezos India Fellowship 2.0 was the second edition of the fellowship program organized by Tezos India. Tezos is a decentralized open-source blockchain network that can execute peer-to-peer transactions and also serve as a platform for deploying smart contracts. The fellowship sees top developers in India mentored and supported in learning and then building on the Tezos stack while receiving $2000 in stipend over the course of the 8-week mentor-led program. The fellows get a chance to learn, grow, and contribute to open-source, get mentored by industry leaders, and join a global community to closely interact with key stakeholders in the Tezos ecosystem.
