Serving Families & Victims of Domestic Violence, we work with petitioners to get civil protection order (CPO) to stop abuse or harassment, support for the victim to prepare a safety plan and refer them to agencies who work with survivors of domestic violence so they able to talk to someone they trust. We attach them to advocates from the Office of the Attorney General ,United States Attorney's Office, Legal Aid Society or other legal services organization for legal representation to assist victims and their families at their request. We also work side by side with the victim and their family as they recover, heal and are able to move forward. We also work with the respondent to stop them from abusing the victim, enforce the CPO's stay away from specified places, not contact the victim, follow visitation arrangements of children, leave the home, take domestic violence, anger management, and other counseling as order by the judge.
