      I recently finished my Masters degree at the University of Stellenbosch. The Masters degree consists of a full research thesis on investigating the feasibility of reusing a wine bottle in the South African domestic market. The thesis required a decision support tool to be developed in order to assist managers of a case company to make an informed decision on whether or not to reuse one of their wine brands in South Africa.

My Job description included the following; Responsible for managing 150 - 200 workers, keeping productivity at a optimum level, managing packaging materials, handling grape inspections and documentation for exports while discussing export programmes with international clients.

      Worked at Dole SA in the grape export department for two months to gain experience in the table grape industry. Went on harbor visits in Cape Town as well as Rotterdam Harbor in the Netherlands. I did a lot of field work on the farms in the Upington region while doing operations and planning in the head offices in Durbanville for a comprehensive experience in the field of export logistics in the fruit industry.

      Winner of Launchlab's Knowledge Acceleration Program Innovus - The Launchlab Oct 2016 The Knowledge Acceleration Program from the launchlab gave participants the opportunity to pitch their businesses to a panel of investors at the end of the course. My business idea of making and selling the 'Picking Harness' was the winning idea of the evening and in return our business received a 3 month incubation period within the Launchlab as well as R15 000 prize money to invest in our business
