  Initiated a rotation program working in Stress Analysis, Design Engineering, and Production Support Engineering in F-22 Program Integrated Product Teams:• Stress Analysis: Performed static as well as durability and damage tolerance analysis on titanium and composite structure through hand calculations as well as by Finite Element Modeling, and produced clear documentation of analysis for use by other engineers. Determined that existing engine mount design was deficient and developed a mechanical fix, as well as a new design for the part. Worked to improve air vehicle design to reduce weight and improve manufacturability. Subject matter expert for Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Risk Informed Decision Making (RIDM) pilot-project for a small dam in the Eastern Sierra Mountains of California. Developed 28-day real-time runoff forecasts for a system of three dams in the Eastern Sierra Mountains to inform dam operation decisions for the 2017 spring runoff season. Developed design hydrographs for the same system of three dams to be used for the design of flow control structures to mitigate spring/summer snowmelt floods. Show less
