Responsible for planning both Regimental and Sqn training, including Command and Leadership, PHEC and PHC, Military Training.Deployed as OC of the Med Sqn that deployed to provide medical support the British Contingent competing in the Nijmegen Marches in the Netherlands. Here I commanded in excess of 60 clinical personnel including Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, Paramedics and both Regular and reserve Medics. Over the main competition, the Med Facilities treated in excess of 900 patients. Responsible for the Healthcare Governance Framework and pre-deployment validation. It was noted from the Validation team that the Sqn produced 'Best Practice' for bespoke training programme and presentation of CMT clinical portfolios. Managed COVID courses for Defence Medical Services Personnel to deploy in support of MACA Tasks during the COVID Pandemic. Managed the Statement of Training Requirement and Tasks for Defence Medical Services, the requirements were submitted from the Royal Navy, Army and RAF Medical Services and the Defence Primary Healthcare. The requirement went through Training Needs Analysis focusing on trends, capacity and operational requirement. Show less
