      Rotational role within the company’s Technical Design and Educational sectors. Responsibilities included the design of bespoke servers for various clients; writing of tender bids for the implementation and maintenance of server networks, and end-user facing technical support.

      Lead the development of Tesco Café's Marketing Strategy, managing the Marketing Team along with owning the relationship with creative agencies, photographers and graphics studio. Responsible for developing the Tesco Café Customer Proposition. Working with Insight, Product Development and Delivery teams to ensure work remains on brief and aligns to the overall business strategy. Developed channels for attracting new users to the Café through Marketing Communications, Activation and PR activities as well as driving the Customer Proposition. Directly managed the workload and output of teamsbased both in the UK and India as well as external design agencies. Working directly withthe Tesco Board, Senior Directors as well as partnering with design teams globally in projectdevelopment. Regularly updating and presenting to senior stakeholders and working groupsduring project progress.Key Achievements:• Developed a new, customer-centric working methodology for Design Propositiondevelopment in Tesco. This process is planned to be adopted as best practice for designdevelopment in Tesco going forward.• Led the first global design proposition to be deployed in all of Tesco’s markets. Devisedworking methodology and best practice with teams from around the world which is nowbeing taken on as the ways of working for the business going forward.• Led in the development of a new Tesco process following a business restructure. Helpedform and develop this working practice with the wider business. Supported in thedevelopment of team members to align to this new process.• Played a key role in the development of a new store concept centering around improvingthe Fresh Food shop. Led the development of Bakery, Food-to-Go and Fresh Food Counterscategories. The concept received positive media acclaim in ‘The Grocer’, Retail Week andDesign Week; being rated as one of the Top 10 stores to visit in 2018 by IGD.• Developed a new hospitality proposition for Tesco Café. Since launch, it has “transformedthe perception” of the Café with extremely positive customer feedback. It has generateda sales uplift of 42%, profit uplift of 126% and is due for further stores this year. . Show less Reviewed Tesco equipment designs to improve safety for customers and colleagues. Identified opportunities for value engineering to benefit costs in future implementations.Key Achievements:• Held a position on two UK-wide Governance Groupsresponsible for overseeing design safety improvementsand approving any new equipment in Tesco stores.• Design development work which saved over £1m per yearfrom the Tesco Property’s store roll-out costs.• Raised the profile of the team to regularly receive inputfrom areas from throughout the wider business on how tobetter address safety concerns in Tesco stores. ManagedBoard level stakeholder expectation in a quick turn around time. Worked with teamsfrom Design, Delivery as well as suppliers.
