It automates the manual and error-prone business management tasks such as payroll, hiring or internal HR data management, etc.Notable tasks and projects that I have worked on during my time at Employment Hero:- Improve response time of legacy modules and features by 80%. - Optimize complex SQL queries whose joins generate heavy PostgreSQL temporary files.- Key contributor to mission-critical projects: - Translation Service: This project localizes the application's content and allows the platform to be sold outside English-speaking market. - One Mission, One Platform: This project creates a realtime data sync between the newly acquired .NET platform (Keypay) to Employment Hero. - Application Tracking System: This project helps Employment Hero's recruiters manage hiring processes for their organizations. It also comes with a dedicated Job Board and useful features like hiring metrics and direct messages.In August 2022, I am honored to have received the Rookie of the Year award, which is given to new Employment Hero employees who have demonstrated stellar performance and strong leadership skill over the past year. It provides an end-to-end platform that enables users to integrate, analyze, and visualize data to gain insights. What I have accomplished during my time here:- Significantly enhanced the success rate of our CI integration test pipeline by an impressive 80%, primarily achieved through systematic identification and resolution of flaky tests.- Maintain and improve the new success rate through the implementation of robust monitoring dashboards and automated alert systems. Additionally, I have proposed and enforced enhanced coding standards, ensuring top-notch code quality across the development team. - Crafted comprehensive internal documentation outlining best practices for working with our CI pipeline, effective test debugging techniques, and efficient test writing strategies. This has proven invaluable for onboarding new team members and streamlining our development processes.- Effectively reduced our monthly CI expenditure by 20% by working closely with CircleCI team to apply CI optimization best practices. My responsibilities included refactoring complex documents, creating new content for recently launched features, and optimizing the documentation process across various functional departments within the company.Throughout my tenure, I successfully reworked and published over 50+ documentation articles, addressing frequently asked questions and providing comprehensive guides for common how-to requests. This initiative significantly lightened the workload for the customer support team, as they could now easily refer clients to the documentation instead of crafting responses from scratch.I’m grateful for the opportunity I have been given to delve into the realm of technical writing, a field that aligns seamlessly with my interests.
