  Debora joined the Corporate Finance team of Grant Thornton Australia in September 2015. Grant Thornton is one of the world's leading organisation of independent assurance, tax and advisory firms. The organisation has over 40,000 members in over 130 countries. Debora is an active member of the Corporate Finance team, providing corporate advisory services to private companies and Government bodies. In her role she has assisted the team in the application and delivery of successful major tender proposals with local and state Governments in Queensland. These projects involved an in-depth independent assessment of the financial viability and corporate structure of Tier 1 engineering companies, in addition to a strategic advisory role in corporate structuring and financial viability analysis in waste management and recycling. Debora has also been involved in several business and assets valuation projects for manufacturing companies, financial service providers, renewable energy companies, emergency services companies, as well as waste management and environmental services companies with annual turnover range of $10 million - $200 million per annum. Debora has recently completed a major financial and strategic advisory project assisting one of China’s top 100 private companies in the takeover and turnaround of an iconic hospitality service provider in North Queensland. She was heavily involved in supporting the lead Partner through both the financial due diligence and strategic advisory stages of the project.Throughout this project, Debora was involved in stakeholder management, project management, liaison with industry experts, market research and profiling, strategic reviews, assessment and analysis, in-depth financial and capital structure reviews, and financial risk assessment.Debora is also expanding her skills and experience in the areas of equity capital market, corporate governance and compliance, in addition to financial modeling and review.
