      Research assistant at the University of Basel in the department for Social Research and Methodology specialising in research and analysis focused on corporate responsibility, social business models, sustainable development, and case study methodology.Role involved researching positive examples of corporate social responsibility and social business models that align with the UN’s SDGs. This research then included analysis in order to create a typology of the benefits for business and society. The purpose of this research was to write up case studies which aid business management and to convince corporations of the mutual benefits of corporate sustainability and social responsibility within business.Within this role, I attended the annual Centre for Responsible Business conference on sustainability standards in New Delhi as a delegate, where I networked with business representatives from global companies and gained valuable insight into the concerns and thought processes of these stakeholders. Through this experience, I gained a solid understanding of the process which takes place in the design, implementation, and refinement of corporate social responsibility programmes. A large part of my research then consisted of transforming this analysis into compelling presentations that engage business leaders, academics, and students alike.Role also included teaching seminars to undergraduate and masters students within the department of social sciences across a variety of topics, primarily focussing on sustainability. The aim of the campaign was to leverage mainstream media and influencer culture, widening engagement around social and environmental issues.
