  Estudo e análise da estabilidade dinâmica em sistemas sujeitos a umaancoragem do tipo SPM (“Single Point Mooring”) com e sem hawser. Sabe-se por estudos préviosque um navio atracado por meio de um hawser sujeito a ação de uma corrente uniforme podedesenvolver um movimento oscilatório no plano horizontal em função do tempo. Este tipo demovimento pode sobrecarregar o cabo de amarração havendo risco de colapso ou diminuiçãodrástica da vida útil.Trabalho com o objetivo analisar o fenômeno de forma experimental através de umamontagem inovadora de modelos em escala reduzida. Diferentes velocidades de correnteza(uniforme) e diferentes tamanhos de hawser analisados. A partir dos resultados obtidos foramfeitas as devidas análises dos comportamentos temporais, bem como um estudo sobre aestabilidade dinâmica e seus respectivos parâmetros de influência levando a resulatdos analíticos.
