      I worked for Global Affairs Canada’s largest project in Myanmar ($6M) to empower 25,000 rural women develop up-to-date agricultural skills and create market connections. Myanmar (or Burma) was the world’s second most closed-off country, after North Korea, until 2015, when it was propelled on to the world stage as the fastest growing economy in South East Asia. As a private sector development consultant I engaged with stakeholders from Myanmar’s agriculture sector to create market connections and source durable agricultural equipment for impoverished women farmers.
