  Resident assistant

  During my experience as a Resident Assistant (RA), I was able to work with a verity of student populations (freshmen, upperclassmen, transfer students, and athletes). As an RA, I offered myself as a resource to on campus residents to manage ongoing challenges and crisis situations. Throughout this role, I aslo had the opportunity to plan events and activities for residents alongside other residence halls and on/off campus partners to help build communities around Boone, NC!

  As a student desk assistant, I regularly welcomed and advised students, faculty and incoming visitors on resources, upcoming events, and provided information on campus and community services. Within this role, I was expected to organize and maintain office files efficiently, ensuring data accuracy, security and easy access at all times. This allowed me to support directors, graduate students, other organizations, and students with ongoing and future academic and social projects!   Estimator and planner

  As an Estimator and Planner, I have the opportunity to calculate costs of graphic design for truck and fleet transportation. After this process, I am also able to plan and review how the final graphic design product will be made, to ensure our customer needs are being successfully met, and our production staff is comfortable and confident throughout this process!
