      Reporting to the Managing Director, and managing a team of approximately 20 employees, the Operations Manager will be responsible for planning and directing site activities by overseeing and managing all manufacturing operations, including manufacturing itself, production planning and inventory control; and supply chain functions including purchasing, and shipping/receiving activities.Leading the systems that ensure stable and predictable uptime for all equipment to ensure on-time delivery of quality product. Ensuring a safe and efficient working environment and high degree of housekeeping. Ensuring compliance to the Quality Assurance system. Making final quality decisions if necessary. Audit preparation i.e. quality audits from Customer and Industry primes. Hosting supplier and customer visits and maintaining a high level of communication. Dealing with customer enquiries and raising quotations, including personal management of key accounts. Travel to other sites and attending customer sites around the UK. Show less
