      Was responsible for the financials of 3 hotels, Nassau's only casino, the Hurricane Hole Marina, the Arawak Golf Club, the PI Real Estate Development Co, a sewerage treatment facility and a reverse osmosis plant. Also assisted marketing with the various programs offered, to all PI Resorts.Assumed Industry roles, as Chairman of the Nassau Paradise Island Promotion Board, CM of the Bahamas Employer's Confederation, Founding CM of the Bahamas Reservation Service and Founding CM of Bahama Island Tours.       Recommended the Haddon Hall, as the best Atlantic City property for conversion to a casino. Prepared the impact statement (jobs, taxes, construction and tourism) for the 1976 casino referendum.Worked with the Assembly Committee, and the AG's Office on the 1977 Casino Control Act.Helped open the first legal casino in the US, outside Nevada, on Memorial Day 1978.Started the line run bus programs (initially mid-week days only); that grew to over 14 mil. visitors.On behalf of Resorts, worked with state Legislatures of IL, IN, LA, and MO that passed riverboat casino bills. Also worked with Legislatures of WV, MA, and OH, that subsequently approved gaming. Show less

      Ran the Sands Resort Casino, while trying to compete with the New Mirage, across the street.Assisted the effort to convince Strip resorts, that conventions and trade shows were good for Las Vegas. Was at the Sands, when we opened the Sands Expo Center, and had to find accommodations for 170,000 attendees and exhibitors for the Comdex Trade Show. That year Las Vegas became the top convention destination in North America.

      Was hired to replace the Boyd Co. as manager; streamline operations, oversee public space upgrades, and help take the Company Public.

      Ran the operations of 5 Riverboat Casinos in IL, LA, MO, IA, and IN. Was primarily responsible in obtaining the Licenses in LA and IN.
