  Buddhist sunday school teacher

  I was the teacher in charge of students aged 7 to 12 years. The main goal of the class was to teach them how to apply Buddhism in their daily lives. I tried my best to impart my knowledge of Buddhism to them through stories and simple teaching. At the end of each lesson, I would give them a few simple questions about what I have taught to gauge their understanding.

  It was a summer job that I took up to get a little more real life experience of working in a community pharmacy. I basically assisted the pharmacists and staff. I had a taste of all the tasks the staff carried out besides using the till. I helped in unloading stock onto the shelves, helping out customers, counseling patients on their medication, as well as giving advice to customers on vitamins and minerals and lifestyle changes. It was only for a month and a half, but during that time I learned a lot about how a pharmacy operates. Show less
