  Responsible for the supervising of production operations, including both the roasting (grinding and/or flavoring) and the packaging of all coffees. Oversees incorporation of rework or segregation of unusable work in process product or other materials from the flow of production at the direction of Quality Assurance. Serves as the primary point of contact for production personnel.•Coordinates production schedule to allow for smooth delivery of all orders.•Maintains accurate Work In Process material reports and accurate green coffee usage reports. •Supervises the accurate and timely completion of roasting sheets, in-process forms, and all production and quality assurance forms and paperwork.•Adheres to Company standards regarding proper food safety and quality standards.•Coordinates with Shipping and Receiving Supervisors in communication of production needs.•Coordinates with Materials Buyer, Inventory Control Supervisor and Production Planner regarding production needs and capacities.•Administers performance review and is accountable for their completeness, timeliness, and thoroughness as directed by management.•Continually seeks to improve processes and to refine methods of job performance.•Adheres to safety guidelines and protocols, and assists in the administration of safety measures and initiatives.•Upholds and provides safe, high-quality, consistent products, and superior services that anticipate, meet or exceed the requirements of our customers.•Complies with General Safety Communication Program.•Performs any other duties/tasks that may be assigned to him/her on an as needed basis.•Supervises scheduling and effective completion of tasks performed by non-exempt Production.•Oversees the activities of Production Leads and all other non-management production personnel, as well as oversees temporary workers as assigned.•Maintains a hands-on approach to management and is present and available to employees.
